Welcome to Hughenden, Alberta

Hughenden is a small village located in central Alberta. It is surrounded by Wainright to the north, Camrose to the west and Provost to the east. The village is located close to Highway 13 and a very small population resides within the village's boundaries. Hughenden is home to an intriguing roadside attraction known as Slingshot. The larger than life slingshot features a sign announcing “Canada Strikes Back.” Golf enthusiasts in the area will enjoy playing a round or two at the Hughenden Golf Club featuring all the hallmarks of Alberta golf. Hughenden also offers nearby shopping and restaurants, and is home to the Hughenden Public Library. Other nearby popular attractions include the Donalda & District Museum in Donalda, and the Wainright District Museum in Wainright.
